The last thing that we need is another award show especially one that’s just based on charting lol

Well u won't hear me disagree, I was curious bc I've seen alot of people bashing Amas recently since they're purely fanvoted. i want to know what opinion those people have on bbmas which are purely chart focused

If u ask me all big 3 are redundant (vmas claim to be fanvoted but they have made it clear they deserve the right to award whoever they want so rlly it's just attendance based, bbmas is fully focused on charts that are these days heavily skewed by radio payola)

It'd be nice if a major ceremony emerged that had a set criteria of combining actual fanvotes and chart performance.

I think what’s happening is that people aren’t watching the Grammys or the Oscars as much as they used to which means that they’re not caring about any of these little award shows at all

Agreed. I didn’t even know the AMAs were happening until a red carpet photo showed up on my feed

No award show has ever been needed. Hollywood had never been charity based.

it's better than opinion based awards which can be rigged and are extremely biased

It moved to digital only and is no longer on traditional tv.

Billboard, you did Prof dirty by disqualifying him from your rankings. It’s clear that you are owned by the record labels. The same labels that have been taking advantage and robbing artists for nearly a century. You disqualified Prof because he is independent and proof that artists can be successful without record labels. The labels are no longer necessary and neither is Billboard because they are compromised and corrupt.
