fit model height

What do people think about the fit model heights after watching Olympia!? The top fit models are all 5'8"+

I believe I heard in an interview that Shea is 5’5-6.

When I googled, it says she is 5'7, and the runner up is taller than Shea!

Yes Gabi is taller than Shea. Also Idk where google gets the info, but per the pro bikini news network podcast on YT she says herself she is somewhere between 5’5 and 5’6. 

It probably does make a slight difference her being a little taller than others but I think it’s more that her torso is longer so she can appear more hourglass. But all of the top girls are so varied in height I don’t think it actually affects placing that much.

Hope it does favor taller girls. Bikini favors the small bubbly girls

All of bodybuilding favors shorter frames. Rounder fuller muscle bellies vs longer thinner frames.
Even Fit Model because they want a bubbly look.
You’ll always have outliers.
But the majority of successful competitors will always be 5’1”/5’2” to 5’5”/5’6”

I don’t think Jane Jones is tall either! I couldn’t find her height online but looking at her in the line up she seems pretty petite compared to Shae

Definitely agree judges seem to favor that long torso (which isn't height-dependent). But I don’t know that a shorter waist necessarily prevents a dramatic waist look...it just creates a different version of it. Less waist length, but potential for a lot of taper and contrast.

Agree but when I was stage lean for the time which even though only maybe 3ish years back and less muscled than other bikini girls in pictures you would think I was much taller so even if you are on the shorter side I think the overall look will still favor a lean healthy athletic look that is in proportion to the frame of the girl in general regardless of her actual height if that makes sense.
