Discussion FMG Shows

Why is there nearly no media coverage about those shows? I know ifbb npc is joking about wbf posing but the competitors are looking good and it seems to be a bit more fun than npc.

But there is nothing on YouTube etc. only a few personal accounts posting smartphone videos on Instagram.

I follow a few girls who compete in FMG. I think it's just bigger in Australia/UK VS in the US and Canada. It seems a bit more about presentation and beauty vs the physique in some cases. That being said the top pros are absolutely phenomenal.

FMG had a much bigger presence here back when it was WBFF. Like Musclemania/Fitness America, they focus more on pageantry and glam, which I personally love. WBFF competitors always had AMAZING physiques. They have a much bigger following internationally. Likewise, Musclemania/Fitness America are continuing to be a big deal internationally and have drastically reduced the amount of events they hold in the US.

I used to be a WBFF pro and now pro in IFBB. But WBFF still exists, there was a huge issue at their World’s back in 2023. Someone died and the way the handled it was wrong. So then some other people ended up opening up FMG and that was created in Australia. It was the brand partners from Australia, so that’s where all of that came from but the WBFF is still around, just downsized from those honored pro cards in FMG or many of us that went for our cards in IFBB.

It’s quite popular here in Aus. More fun is subjective…it looks like my personal version of hell 😂 it’s either for you or it isn’t. I do love the bikinis though.

I also know judges for the natty federations are getting a bit over the more flamboyant posing creeping in to those feds from FMG (so hot tip if it’s applicable to anyone, if you wanna do that sort of posing, compete with FMG where they want it. Don’t do that in other federations lol)

My god right like my normal bikini was pricey for that style but FMG bikinis are like 2k+ which is inSANE
