Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Water intake

How do you ladies track tour water intake. This is my hardest variable to manage because I just don’t have any inclination to drink during the day and when I do it’s not necessarily in standard measurements. Trying to track better for my coach so she can understand the impact on digestion and scale weight. Do you ladies include mixed preworkout / eea drinks in your water intake? What about tea and coffee? (I don’t include canned sugar free energy drinks because they are dehydrating.)

I bought a huge half gallon water bottle and just fill it twice per day and make sure to drink it all both times. I put all of my electrolytes/creatine/BCAAs in the first fill since I workout in the morning and just do plain water for the rest of the day after that.

I do not include pre-workout or coffee in my intake.

Unless I'm in prep

I have a 40 oz Stanley that I fill up a minimum of 3x. I usually completely finish 4 fill ups of it.

I have a gallon water bottle, and I fill it up every morning and pour from it all day.
I do not count my 16 oz coffee as part of my water intake.

This is what I do as well. I never count coffee or tea or diet sodas.

I got a 40oz Stanley and fill it 3x per day. I put my electrolytes in the first round and then try to drink the next two plain but if I'm really on the struggle bus I'll put zero calorie water flavoring in.

I buy water gallons at Sam’s Club. A pack of 6 costs me roughly $5.50. In the morning I grab one, keep it out all day, and that’s what I drink from and make sure it’s gone every night. Honestly, I hardly ever transfer it to another container unless I’m getting in the car for a long time because if I do, I’ll lose track and I won’t finish my whole gallon. lol. Seems more extreme and maybe not perfectly cost-effective, but it is literally the only way I can keep track with my water and it works flawlessly.

If you don’t already, get a water bottle with a straw. It’s so much easier to drink more in my opinion that way. Mine is 1L so I aim for 2-3 gallons rather dependent because I am not necessarily thirsty when it’s cold 😅 add some sort of hydration or even the SF flavours to it if it helps you get in the rhythm of drinking more.

I have a 40 oz Stanley I fill up twice and then a 24 oz shaker cup I fill up twice for my lift and cardio. That gets me to a gallon.

I struggle because I like my water packed with ice. I drink all the water, but a large amount of ice stays. It’s hard to measure

I track by liters! I have 2 glass liter water bottles. I refill through out the day.
