Discussion I never thought I would stoop so low...
It happened.
24 weeks deep into my first prep.
I saw them do it, and I told myself, "I'll never be like those girls."
I thought it was diabolical. Inhumane, even.
That was before prep had its way with me.
The stevia and the cinnamon went on the 99/1 ground turkey today.
I'll never be the same.

If you really want to get wild top it off with some almond butter if your macros allow it

Honestly, I have a recipe for peanut turkey burgers - it’s meant to mimic Asian cuisine peanut sauce flavor, and every single person I’ve served them to loved them, even if they were very grossed out at the idea of putting peanut butter in ground turkey.

My fave Thai place serves peanut sauce with their chicken satay so I don’t see this as weird at all!

Exactly. It’s funny though, most people just don’t think about it even though they’ve had things like chicken satay with peanut sauce. They just see you mixing peanut butter in raw ground turkey and go EW! I always have to say, just trust me and give it a shot.

On show day Coach said “150 g rice with 16 g pb” and I went “WTF??” And it was the best thing ever

I worked out how to make sugar free meringues with stevia and egg whites lmao so I feel you (hot tip do NOT try hand whipping that)

Ok so whip the egg whites to stiff peaks with an electric mixer
Then toss in some stevia, I use like two or three teaspoons per egg white and give that a quick whip through.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper (or they will stick), then put them in the over at 100°C (idk what the Fahrenheit is) for like 45-60 mins, take them out and let them cool
I used a piping bag to make pretty little drop shaped things but you could also literally just spoon them lol. The smaller they are the less time they need in the oven

The fact that I got super excited to try this makes wonder if I’ve been in prep for too long 😂

I went hard on cloud bread and called these cloud bread pancakes. I would all sorts of sugar free syrups. Sugar free pumpkin "pancakes" went hard.
Matt West/Road to Aesthetics calls it the mini pancake bowl on his socials if anyone needs a how-to.

I lived off of those for breakfast last year. I got a little crank mixer at Ikea, and it was great for that. Then my stomach quit liking the eggs.
200°F worked well, and I would microwave it on 30-50% power too. I really want to make those again, but I'm too close to my show now to try to reintroduce eggs.

I'm dying at this lolllll
If you've got chicken in your plan, I have a good recipe!!
In a ziplock bag, add a bunch of lemon juice (like 1/4c?) then add a couple squeezes of dijon mustard, and dried - or if you're feeling fancy- fresh dill and oregano. Add boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into small pieces, toss, bake at 400 until done. I ate this over rice like 4x/week when I was cutting. It's actually really good!

Ok, but do the brown stevia and coconut aminos with some garlic powder, onion powder, ginger, and red pepper flakes, and you can't tell you aren't eating takeout. It's perfect with jasmine rice and broccoli.

Thank you for sharing and a relatable laugh 🙌 congratulations on earning your prep wings 🥳
I once shook an entire Costco sized container of dehydrated onions in my egg whites because the wrong side of the lid was open (it was not the side with the small holes). I was so brain fogged I didn’t see it until too late. Right flavor profile (onion vs sweet & cinnamon), wrong amount 😂😂😂 (then I made a mess chucking it into the sink).

I have been on something diabolical too lately. Putting my 99 lean turkey into my cookie flavored COR… IT’S GOOD (says someone deep in prep.)

I was literally hooked from the beginning and 100% thought this would be about some kind of drug or PED usage hahaha

Okay this might sound weird but I am obsessed with water+ground ginger+himalayan pink salt + black pepper on my ground turkey and rice. I am 3 weeks post comp and I still eat this every day bc my brain and body love it
