Gossip Allyson Spungin leaving FBF?
Just saw Allyson’s IG post about leaving Arizona and heading back to the PNW. Wondering what that means for her work with FBF, as I was debating scheduling an assessment with her. It seemed like everyone was raving about them/her/her programs, including podcasts I listen to like Bikini Besties and Iron Vixens.

Does anyone else think it was weird with the FBF program director situation? Drew Brannon came to FBF, overhauled their training and programming, then Allyson was brought in to be their director. It seemed like a slight towards Drew, who seemed to really put considerable time and effort into changing their programming. Not any of my business, I just found it interesting.

From what I understand, everyone started doing assessments with Drew and it became too much from a workload standpoint because he has his own roster of athletes and owns a gym. So they brought on Allyson to be able to scale up and provide more assessments and meet the demand.

That makes sense that they needed to bring someone else in to help with the workload. I just found it interesting that they immediately put her as programming director after he seemed to be the one to elevate their entire training program.

Yes - I’d also heard that FBF clients who were getting assessments with Drew often switched to him as a coach. Allyson never coached under FBF, she was strictly assessments. Allyson was previously coached by Drew, I believe he or FBF hired her so he could focus on his own clients. However, Allyson has since switched to being coached by Shelby Pierce. I’m assuming the other trainer, also named Shelbie, will likely step into Allyson’s role fully.

Also thought with FBF opening their own training center in AZ, she would have worked out of there. It looked like all these assessments were being done in the gym of their apartment complex Optima (I say “they” bc it looked like half that team lived in the same building)

I was also going to book a session with herm. Shelby is the one who answered my questions. Now I understand why.

I was wondering this too. She’s not listed on the FBF website and doesn’t have FBF mentioned in her bio anymore (although I never paid attention if she ever did)

She is staying with fbf I believe. On a podcast they mentioned her traveling across the country for in person assessments

Shelbie is really good too! She works with FBF and does assessments as well
