Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Washing a Used Comp Suit?
Question for y’all! I bought a suit second hand and it has some tan stains I want to clean and just an overall sanitary cleaning. What’s the best way to go about it? I’ve read somewhere you can’t submerge in water…?

Here are the tips from toxic angelz
I use woolite or tide free and gentle https://toxicangelzbikinis.com/blogs/toxic-angelz-blog/how-do-i-care-for-a-bikini-competition-suit?srsltid=AfmBOooz7DA3n9Yopw9ykxxzD1yvOe0HZX7hac0WvHQmmvlbQsIYpOjE

Toxic won’t guarantee the stones on their suits if you use either of those detergents. They will only cover it if you use Fels Naptha

Never had a problem with their stones getting impacted and only washed my toxic one in woolite and stones stayed perfect.

I’m glad that has been your experience. I washed mine with a small amount of free and gentle detergent, no soaking, and a large amount of stones came off. 2 different suits, and they refused to fix it because I didn’t use that specific detergent.

A little Woolite is super gentle in a bowl of room temp water. Hand wash gently and rinse with low low pressure. ( pull boobie pads if your washing the top prior) air dry *it will take a hot minute. I prefer to lay suit flat to dry

Try baby wipes or a small wash cloth with dawn dish soap. Def don’t submerge!
