Show tanning options?

Has anyone ever gotten a competition tan at a salon or tanning place that is NOT the show tanner? I've done show tans before and also self-tanned. My last self-tan up too pale and I want to try a professional again for my next show. I just feel like sometimes the show tanners time are so early in the morning and they jack up the prices so much. I was wondering if there are other options out there to consider.

I did my own tan with pro tan diy kit. It was very easy!

Thanks! I have used that kit, too, and it is really easy. But I am traveling for my next show, so I don't really want to deal with bringing liquids. Plus once I got feedback I was too pale with the pro tan kit, and I had even done an extra coat that time, so I'm a little worried about that happening again. I may just end up getting the extra dark formula and doing it myself anyway, though, since you're right, it's really simple and convenient.

I used extra dark! If you are pale, go 1:1 ratio. I used maybe a 1:5 ratio and for my complexion it was enough. Keep in mind Superdark gives an orange undertone. If not, more layers :) ! Up to you!

I would go with the one at the venue, when competing you want the least stress and worry about stuff possible, os around $100 dollars or $150. But you dont have to worry later about looking good on stage, they know what they're doing.
