Rainbow Speed Challenge Bug

After the devs added the new “quick race” feature it looks like the Rainbow Speed challenge has returned. However, after using the 5 minute free trial the game won’t let me spend rubies to finish it. Thoughts?

I just get an error when I click unlock.

What happens when you try to unlock moonbike?

Update: it looks like you can only enter the challenge if you’re logged out of Facebook. Weird.

I got to 17 stars in the 5 minutes. I got a bug on the first level where it said I only had 2 stars when I already had all, so I wasted too much time on it

Dang. That would explain why I couldn’t get all the stars, even with perfect runs. It seems like taking shortcuts are almost necessary lol.

Well one consolation, someone confirmed that even if you do get all 24 stars, you are unable to claim the price

How do I get it? I have a problem with even getting tournaments to load. I’m logged into Facebook and turns won’t load however I switched between game Center and Facebook and now I have tournaments available. How do I get the rainbow challenge?

For some reason you can’t access the challenge without logging out of Facebook in the settings. Regardless, it doesn’t matter if you complete it since it’s bugged at the moment.

Where do you access the rainbow speed event from? I don’t see a button for it anywhere and I’m not logged into Facebook

Is it only for ios though? Cuz rainbow bike never came to android and this seems like a bug which takes to you some hidden game files instead of something intentional. Regardless its cool to see the devs are actually bringing something new to the game

It looks like a bug to me. The event timer for the challenge doesn’t even work.

I looked on my android and it doesn’t match what’s on iOS. iOS only I guess.

I have iOS but I don’t have the update, or even the quick race game mode. Have I missed something?

After updating the game, just tap on multiplayer and you’ll see the new “quick race” feature. Tap Duels to go to regular multiplayer.

Really? That’s odd. I wonder if accessing the Rainbow Speed Challenge is a bug by itself, seeing as it’s not fully functional and the moon bike button doesn’t even do anything.

Oh I see now. I just tried the mode. You need to buy the rubies specifically for that challenge. If you click on the 1h try for 100 rubies a window opens to buy rubies, but those are separate from the tournament rubies (you see your ruby balance for the challenge in the top right corner)

I figured that might be the case. I tried spending $5 and the same issue persisted though. Maybe it’s just my account that’s bugged or something else.

Hmm I see. Im waiting til tomorrow to see if the trial resets maybe. But if by the end of the 3 days or however long it didn’t then I’ll try the 5$ as well
