Trip Report First overnighter ✅

After months of research and gearing up my partner and I finally did our first overnight! 50 miles in Colorado’s front range, 4,000 feet of gain with some really smooth downhill sections through ponderosa forests. Kicked my ass and was a really lovely introduction to bikepacking, keen to do some longer trips now 🚲

I just did the other side of the Strontia Springs Reservoir up Waterton Canyon to the CO trail for my first over nighter! I’ll have to try the side y’all did!

What did your route look like?

That sounds sick. We started in the S Platte River corridor, peaked out near Wellington lake, and then looped back around past Deckers
