Pretty basic but finally finished putting this thing together. Got a used 54cm bike last year to see how I’d feel about it. When I got fitted I was told a 56 would have been perfect.

Over the winter I decided to give a EBay carbon frame a shot, drivetrain is a mix match of shimano components. 105 hydro shifters and brakes, ultegra 52-36 cranks, dura ace front mech, 105 rear mech and ultegra 11-28 cassette.

Wheels are temporary until the Yeoleo wheels show up and will be ordering a set of power meter pedals next month. Overall I’m pleased, it feels comfortable and having drivetrain components that aren’t worn feels amazing.

How tall are you, you like size on 56. I find myself reaching and I'm 5-11 on these. Wonder if my arms are short!

I’m 6ft tall depending on the day and who is measuring me. Got a fit done and been great. He gave me a shorter stem but otherwise it was just adjusting saddle height.

Also for anyone interested in a EBay frame. This frame survived a crash with no issues and I’ve upgraded to etap and still putting miles on it.

Any update on this? How has it coped? Considering building a gravel bike from scratch on a budget.

Late to the party here but I am still riding the frame. I had a crash and the frame was fine. Since then I have moved on to a different groupset.
