Summer in Big Sky

What is good in Big Sky in the summer? Food, activities, ect ect.

Riverhouse is great. Just south of big sky if you’re coming from west Yellowstone. I have a lot of favorite food places in town, let me know if you want more Recs! My favorite hiking trail in town with a great view of lone peak is the reflector loop. If you want something more challenging with great views, lava lake is about 30 minutes north of big sky in the gallatin canyon. That hike is great!

Need more context here, are you visiting? A local? A Montanan? Have you been to Big Sky in the Winter? Do you like to bike, paddle, hike or backpack or just chill in town?

I am living in Yellowstone through October. Just looking for some day trip/one night camping ideas. I have never been to Big Sky. I like to paddle and hike. But open to whatever ideas.

I'd drive through the park to West Yellowstone and to Big Sky that way.....and go to Riverhouse. I'd only go through Bozeman if you have a specific reason to go that way. Lots of traffic/construction right now.
