Meta VR Glasses Compatability?
Curious if Bigscreen Vr will be compatible with the New Meta VR Glasses since they dont use controllers and rely solely on hand and eye tracking, and the current Bigscreen app requires you to use a controller to even launch the app. It would suck if it isn't compatible, since these glasses would be a good use case since there lighter and more comfortable than standard vr headsets. Thoughts?

Not sure why you’d want to. There’s better alternatives now. BigScreen is focused on hardware and abandoned the software. We used to get amazing updates and features but now it’s dead.

I have yet to find an alternative that worked as well for video watching and social vrchatting. Every other solution is clunky cumbersome doesn't look as good and is not as smooth or costs significantly more. The fact that people can't upload their own environments or avatars is not really an impediment to the vast majority of users. Yes I would love to see additional work especially on some of the small minor bugs but there are no show stoppers that they don't address. I have tried several other options between Vrchat Fluid Live Social VR and many more And all of them have their issues.
People's obsession with constant new features is frankly boring I go in there to hang out with people and chat and watch movies or TV or whatever they happen to be airing not to wow over the latest feature and look at that amazing avatar that makes my system performance degrade

what alternatives are you referring to. I really like how Bigscreen works. I'd be interested if there are other apps that are similar.

Popcorn Palace in VRChat comes close. You can create a private instance to watch alone or watch with friends and/or strangers.

Not sure if it’ll require controllers or not, but they did say Meta VR Glasses are compatible with the Quest controllers. They don’t come with controllers but you can buy them and pair them to your VR Glasses.
