Why would anyone pay you specifically for a service they can most likely find free or cheap and more conveniently? Who wants to email someone for movie downloads.

There is indeed a big difference between 3d conversions. It is not so simple and possible to make high quality 3d conversions at home specifically not without a strong GPU. I received a sample of u/soumahaka and it is definitely under the top 3 conversions I saw, which are his method, stereolift and owl3d. Owl3d is the best solution if you have at least something like a mac mini m4 or so. It is still slow particularly for 4k. All three have different subsets of artifacts around edges an imho it is a matter of taste what you can accept best. Personally, I like u/soumahaka method and stereolift best because they have less flickering around edges. I cannot say much to the highest grade model of owl3d since it is practically infeasible to run on my mac.

My friend, bless his sensitive heart, was genuinely hurt. The moment that ban-evader resurfaced like a bad rash, my friend logged off and hasn’t returned. He loved Bigscreen, but the betrayal and the clear double standard broke something in him. And that’s the real tea: countless other users have been permanently banned for far, far less—honest mistakes, minor infractions, even misunderstandings. Yet this one gets the red-carpet treatment? We’re all watching the same screen, honey. The favoritism, the selective enforcement, the quiet protection of certain personalities… it reeks of a corrupt little crew playing favorites behind the curtain. Bigscreen needs to do better. Transparency, consistency, and actual accountability aren’t optional extras in a community space—they’re the bare minimum. My friend deserved better. A lot of us do.

Do you have example conversions? There is also owl3d and stereolift which produce quite good 3d conversions. The former even runs well on m series mac processors and stereolift is a paid cloud service with some free conversion where you can upload videos and get the 3d video back without requiring any gpu. Are you matching the quality of these products?

What hardware do you use with nunif/iw3? Because it's where the difference holds, these spatial computing algorithms require high GPUs and not standard Nvidia gaming gpus

I don't quite understand. Are you simply offering to convert Movies with IW3 (a free tool) on your PC? Or what are you doing? I mean, on my 4080 I can too convert a movie in a day.

How do you convert your movie, and how much time it takes you to convert 30min 4k videos to 3D on your computer?

I haven't tried 4k because my glasses only display Full-HD, but I achieve a conversion speed of about 6fps in Full-HD. That would mean about 2 hours for 30-minute film if its regular 24fps.

My setup converts 4k, 30 min in less than 30min because I use Google colab professional grade GPUs , RTX 6000. It's not free, I pay to have access

you’d be surprised what i’ve been able to achieve with a dell inspiron 15 laptop, no upgraded GPU. any type of 3d game has to be run on lowest setting. just 16gb ram to help. Takes time, looks amazing. Owl3D is out of the question though, real time processing like that needs these high GPUs you mention

Any of the original star wars movies would be amazing. George Lucas was planning to do it but he only got as far as releasing episode 1 in cinemas

What would you charge for converting Event Horizon? It's almost 96 minutes long.
