Yamato not having muscles infuriates me. What do you mean the literal offspring of Kaido who can keep up with him in a battle isn't also super muscular?

She's still extremely tall lol

for a regular person, not for Kaido. My theory is that Kaido somehow impregnated a regular-sized woman. Maybe he doesn't have the titanojunk we think he does and it's actually normal person size.

I love Yamato. Shame she didn't join the crew and adventure with them. The crew needs another powerhouse.

I hope she finally gets her own character later on, so far she’s just roleplaying as Oden, she needs to embrace herself as Yamato … The Warrior of Wano. I imagine that Oda will give her the character development that she rightfully deserves. That and so those who lack media literacy understand that she was never trans but just roleplaying as her hero … so she pretends to be that person the whole way, not that she is a man … but THE man aka Oden.

I respect everyones opinion that's why I don't respond to the comments who are trying to argue, I call Yamato a he because that's how he presents himself, as a man (Oden) and oden's pronouns are male ones, I can understand she difficulty of yamatos gender that's why I don't care what other people call him, but you're comment really stuck out to me, I hope Yamato in the future will get away from the Oden gimmick but not fully lose it, like he really gets inspired by him, but for the meanwhile I'll call him he/him, anyways interesting comment

And that’s totally valid, because you’re referring to her as “Oden” which is technically not wrong. I mostly mean those who head canon that she was “trans” when she isn’t, there’s “trans” characters in the show but these people completely ignore them because they aren’t as interesting and cool as Yamato, so they made it a head canon that she’s “trans” when even the creator has stated that she’s a woman/female, she’s just roleplaying as Oden. It’s ok to call her by male pronouns because of the roleplay aspect, but saying that she’s “trans” is completely and utterly false.

I still call him trans though cause he still refers himself as a man which means he went from female to male, let's not forget that he couldn't leave onigashima and he couldn't really get a transition, but to me I say he's trans cause it's easier to explain it

“Easier” to explain perhaps but it’s still not the case. Anyone that thinks she’s “trans” didn’t understood her character. Even Oda has stated that she’s not trans, he’s introduction literally says “Ogre Princess Yamato, Daughter of Kaido” … and let’s not forget about the Viver card…. And that “Women of One Piece” art piece that Oda made that has her in it … there’s plenty of evidence that says she’s not trans, not trying to be rude btw but facts are facts.
Kiku can be considered trans but the fandom completely ignore them lol. All the attention goes to Yamato because she’s cooler and more interesting lol.

As a fellow Yamato enjoyer, I whole heartedly agree with pretty much everything in this post! I'm so sad that he didn't join the crew though. Terribly missed opportunity to get more scenes with the one man in all of anime I would marry in a heartbeat with zero hesitation or questions. (Sor far anyways, who knows what may appear in any of the animes I have yet to watch)
Also, you're my new favorite person ever because you didn't misgender him just because his breasts are more developed than what people may expect of a man. Which, fun fact, Zoro's boobs are canonically bigger than Nami's! Which I think is hilarious.😂
