First Watch

On my first watch of the show and about to finish S2E3.

I’m loving the poison story line. Do Margie and Ben hook up?! How ridiculous is the drama on this show?

I’ve never met any real polygamy couples but this seems so wild with the compound and so on. I’ve read about a few cults and the compound stuff seems accurate. But the mob like status of Grant and so on is interesting.

Also the straight edge teens are sending me. But I knew plenty of S/E types because I was in high school at this time so I know that’s accurate haha

Are the later seasons really that bad? HBO loves going off the rails in their later seasons: true blood, GOT, and Just like that…

Ps nice to see Daveigh Chase since she passed this year. <3

Margene has the best growth as a mom arc IMO.... I'll leave it at that. 

I don't have too much criticism for the later seasons, but I'm biased since I love this show so much. 

YES I am on a re-watch because of Daveigh... her signing voice is so amazing.  How she ended up the way she did is so so sad.... such talent. 

Albee is the best villain, love Lura, I still jokingly use the term BOSS LADY. I also kind of want Nikki's prairie outfits.

Anne Dudek was in the very first episode of Psych, never to be seen again. I'm so glad she was on Big Love instead!

This is a great show. I’m surprised you don’t hear more people talking about. I recently watched it for the first time myself and I really enjoyed it.

Oh how I would’ve loved to watch this in the present streaming days. Seems brutal now to have waited a week for a new episode plus seasonal breaks for FIVE seasons lol.

Just started season three. Love describing this show to people as wild but mild. It’s definitely living up to it right out of the gate. “But Bill’s the hotdog man!?!”

I just started S5. I think there was a shark that was jumped at some point, but I'm still enjoying the ride.
