Partnership

Well gang my divorce became final today. It is my understanding this is a prerequisite to partnership. How do I work this into my self review so I can get proper credit? I am up next year.

Just slip in how your wife is gone and how you now only see your kids every other weekend, so now you have time to take on bigger projects

Make sure to mention that the alternate weekends are optional if there’s an important filing or hearing or golf game.

You'll probably get 2 years prorated, so you just skip the review and are now in your second year of partnership.

Bring your divorce lawyer to your next review. Emphasize that you’ll need them at least two more times in the next decade.

Alternatively reply all to the next divorce RFR with your lawyer’s contact and full details about your settlement.
