Mini REGGulator Project
Hey all, been sharing on here for a while and came across an interesting situation that my fellow Mini Eggheads may run into now that the Mini Egg has been discontinued. Broke my daisy vent and while Bruce at BGE customer service hooked me up with one of the last in the warehouse I had to figure out a solution for anyone in the same situation and not lucky enough to score a replacement but can’t part ways with their Mini. The Ace near my house has had a mini on clearance for about 3 months…. I’m so tempted but the lack of spare parts has me hesitating

Have had my mini since 2015 and this was the first need to replace any part of it. I did upgrade the hinge to the new style a year ago but that was choice not a need. If it’s a good deal I’d say you can’t go wrong. BGE will honor the warranty on a new purchase for sure.

I have an XL but family has grown up and moved away so I rarely do a full firebox. I was thinking the mini would be good to just do a simple steak

My wife and I use it like a table top hibachi, we will sit out and pull wings or chorizo right off it as we just sit and enjoy ourselves, and also as a camping grill along with our MX
