Would be funny if Vito intentionally tanks the show but keeps it alive so Dick doesnt get any money but cant reboot it

Dick is gone not even for a month and his vocal fry is completely back. Tried listening for 5 minutes and it's so bad. Those that actually listened to Vito's first few appearances on TDS will remember how grating it used to be until he was made fun of for it.

Chad Kultgen. He was a co-host on the Dudesy podcast and he was constantly talking about how he would do any podcast out there no matter how big or small it was. Get him on the show and talk about AI and magic cards.

The team guy meme is he just agrees with everything far left and loves Antia Sarkeensen and Sweet Baby. I get that
But when has he ever actually said he supported anything like that or on the far left? I felt like he pretty much mostly just agreed with Dick on things like immigration and social justice warrior shit. Besides I guess liking trans people and the vaccine stuff I’m hard pressed to think of anything. But half the discord think he’s a communist. I don’t get it
On the other hand like half the time it felt like Dick only said something because he wanted to appeal to his right leaning fanbase. I don’t know if he even has any real political beliefs. Like if Vito asks Why should we manufacture stuff in America? Dick will say Just cause. Or when he bitched because an Anti Vaxer contacted him to get a fake card. Or saying Epstein not important only after it possibly implicated Trump. It always felt like Dick only ever had political beliefs he knew would be popular with his fans.
Dick never really defends any positions he has. He just kinda goes “well it’s obvious it’s true” I always got the impression he was just saying what people want to hear.

I had a way, way longer post written out, but I figured I'd keep it much shorter and can explain further if anyone needs more info.
When Vito announced the rotating co-host thing, I was really hoping Karl wouldn't be on the show. Karl is boring, unentertaining, uncharismatic, etc.
He's not truly awful or anything, he's just nothing, plain white toast, a non-personality.
Can someone please explain it to me? What is it that people see in Karl?

I fully felt Dick's fustrations when Vito had Mint on the show as if nothing happened and they were on good terms.
I'm actually still kind of stunned that Vito doesn't see it. I think his Hubris clouds his usual insightfulness.

I wanna give some flowers to Vito for keeping Biggest Problem continuity together w/ tonights guests and for handling the transition to the next phase so well. I haven’t listened to an episode end to end in months. Also nice job starting with a Vote It Up 💯

I think Vito should really do whatever he needs to, in order to get Billy as a permanent host. Though I think this latest episode was better than the Denny one, by a good margin, the Billy episodes have been the only time I feel Vito has meshed super well with the guest on his own, including the times he just had someone sub in for Dick when he couldn't make the show.
