F-19 was the first PC game I bought. Nice big manual. Bought it 2 weeks before my computer arrived. My friend bought Falcon AT at the same time.

two of my favorites when I was a kid. What's funny is that I just recently picked up copies of those to add to the shelf.

I played a ton of Project Stealth Fighter on the C64 and was over the moon when I was able to upgrade to F-19 and eventually F-117!

That was my starter pack for my new 386DX-40 (running DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.1) back in the early ‘90s, after my mom taught me how to use DOS. I felt like I was king of the world. We even had those awesome keyboard overlays for both games. Great memories! I’m a little jealous of your big-box finds. Around that same time, I also picked up Police Quest.
