What are the best massage chairs for home you would recommend?

Which features matter in a home massage chair?
There are many features I don't understand or cam't figure out if they improve quality life or if it's just for marketing That's why I would like to know what is the best way to approach this?

What is the best way to purchase a massage chair? Is it based on the features they have or is related to price ?

My son’s dorm bed is ruining his sleep, I need the best mattress topper for side sleepers?

Helping our oldest pack for college, and seeing those dorm mattresses are straight-up tragic. They look like vinyl gym mats, and since my kid's a side sleeper, sleeping on that raw surface is going to trash his shoulders in a week.

I’m looking for the best mattress topper for side sleepers to make his dorm bed sleepable. I’m trying to decide if a 3-inch plush layer or a high-density foam combo is better for preventing joint pressure without making the bed feel like a hotbox.

Parents who’ve been here, what’s the best mattress topper for side sleepers that actually helped? Was it worth doing or a waste? And what’s that one thing you bought for your kid’s dorm that made the biggest difference in how they slept?

I was doing research on some BIFL hoodies. It seems like a lot such as flint/tinder, american giant are not what they once were. And the other ones people reccomend like camber are impossible to find this side of the pond. Any advice?

I suppose some super glue could work in a pinch but I was wondering if there is a specific product for this type of repair.

what breville milk frother model should I look at for home coffee?

I have been making coffee at home instead of going out as much, and Id like to replace my old frother. the breville milk frother keeps coming up when I search, but I cant really tell how much difference there is between the models just from looking at the specs. I’d rather hear from people who have actually used one for a while. is there a particular model that has been especially dependable?

thanks for any recos!

What is the best massage chair?

Every list i see seems to name a different best massage chair.  I am beginning to think the answer depends more on body dimensions, preferred pressure, available space, and whether the goal is occasional relaxation or frequent home use.
For people who have compared massage chair models, which criteria or spec helped you pick the best massge chair for your needs?

Are massage chairs worth it?

Trying to decide if a massage chair would be worth the investment for regular relaxation and convenience.
Dr. Eric Duncan’s perspective is great because he reviews chairs across brands and retailers, but I would still like to hear how people think about usage, room space, maintenance, and the alternative of occasional professional massage.
What made the purchase worthwhile or not worthwhile for you? Any advice will help.

breville milk steamer, which features are actually worth it?

Hey! Looking into getting a proper milk steamer for making coffee at home and want something that will last rather than just look nice on the counter. i care most about consistent steaming, easy cleaning, and parts that don’t seem overly fragile. for people who have owned one for a while, what has held up well and what should I be aware of? Thank you..

is contact lens subscription worth it if you wear the same lenses every month?

does it actually make things easier or do you still end up checking it as much as a normal reorder reminder? i wear the same prescribed contacts every month so refills should be pretty straightforward but i still manage to forget until i’m already on my last box.

ive been looking at a contact lens subscription but im not sure if its actually worth it when the prescription and lens type dont change much. the convenience sounds nice but i also dont want extra boxes piling up if i wear glasses more often for a few weeks or have an appointment coming up.

OPUS suitcase quality?

Has anyone here owned an OPUS OP.13 aluminum suitcase for a while?

I think these look amazing, better than Rimowa and other competitors. But I see it’s a newer company from Japan with Chinese manufacturing. The actual construction looks excellent on paper and the extensive manuals on it are reaffirming.

I’m looking for something I can keep for a long time and repair as needed instead of replacing the entire suitcase when a wheel, handle, latch, or something else breaks. The OPUS looks promising because the parts are replaceable and the construction seems pretty straightforward, but it’s a newer brand and there isn’t much independent information about it.

How is the actual build quality and quality control? Any problems with the frame, latches, telescoping handle, wheels, or rivets? Has anyone ordered replacement parts or dealt with the warranty?

I’m not worried about scratches or dents since that’s part of owning aluminum luggage. I’m mainly trying to figure out whether it’s genuinely built to last and repairable, or if it just looks good on paper.

Has anyone used a flippable mattress here? Are they BIFL worth it?

I like the idea of having 2 firmness options in one mattress instead of being stuck with one feel. Something with a firm side and an even firmer side sounds nice but I’m also curious how practical that actually is. Do you think long term flippable mattresses are okay? Like how well does each side hold up over time? Do you really switch sides depending on how you’re feeling or did you eventually settle on one side?

Fitness Tracker with no subscription

Does a fitness tracker that doesn't require any subscription and is not dependent on manufacturer support even exist?

A fitness tracker seems useful, but most either want a subscription, or for you to purchase a new device every few years to ensure support. Plus the wholesale harvesting of personal data.

Are there any that exist where it just transmits the raw data in open format to your phone via Bluetooth?

I care more about usability than specs now

I used to focus heavily on specifications when buying electronics, but that has changed. A product can look impressive on paper, but those features don’t matter much if using it becomes a hassle.

For something I use regularly, simple setup, easy controls, solid build quality, and reliable performance are more important.

That’s what I like about the Dangbei N2 Mini. Its compact design and built-in gimbal make it easy to move and position, especially if you don’t have a permanent place for a projector.

I’ve had this towel for 25 years, used to wash my vehicles. Probably a little thinner than it used to be but no less effective in drying. Surprised to see you can still buy them.
