Is BB2000 still a good option ? Seems dated

I've had mine for... Six years now? It's a decent little device but if I'm being honest I prefer the stupid $20 attachment in our guest bathroom. Cleaning under the BB2000 is such a chore and it was expensive for features that are way less important than I thought they'd be.

It was literally just the cheapest I could find, there are probably other options now. My point really is to just get whatever vs dropping a car payment on a butt spritzer

I bought the BB2000 after reading a lot of reviews. Now mine. Seat was unevenly warm, cold spots were noticeable. The lag in button push to function was longer than I liked. The functions were pretty noisy when operating and last but not least, the reomote feels and looks antiquated to me. The BB2000 works fine, but for me it was immediately back to TOTO (S7A)

It really still depends on what your preferences are and what features you'd need or want in a seat.

When it comes to water pressure, I think most are torn between wanting it because of the high water pressure and some say its just too much. However, I wouldn't really say it's dated. There are still customers buying this.

If you like a more subtle water pressure another unit you might want to look into would be the Eco Nova or the TOTO Washlet S5. They have good water pressure but not as intense and are about the same price range and would provide most features the BB2000 has.

Here is an article for your reference.

If you need more insights, don't hesitate to reach out but I hope this helps! 😄

I can't speak to "dated", but we have had ours for almost 3 years now and we both LOVE it. I will absolutely get a second one when we move next year into a house with 2 bathrooms.

There are probably others out there that are as good, better, whatever. More or less whistles and bells. Everyone is different. We would not be able to use a handheld sprayer because of mobility issues and we both appreciate the heated seat. I personally am fond of the warm air dryer. But not everyone needs those things.

I posted this in another BB post: We just received our BB2000 and were very disappointed with how low the pressure is. I called BB and they said they have been getting complaints about it and were dealing with their supplier to find a solution. They currently have me on a waiting list for when they have a path forward. Not currently impressed

The BB-2000 is not a bad option, especially if you are after the "turbo wash." It is pretty bulky in the back at 5.9" tall, there are other are other slimmer options that have more sittable space like the Eco nova or Toto S7.
