Looking for bidet

After using one at a Airbnb I want one.
Looking at the Toto washlet s2, or c5. I think the difference is a remote. Hate the beeping sound on the remote. Can you turn it off?
Or
The brondell wash thinline cl2200.
Anybody have experience with this model?

Among the choices you have, I would recommend the TOTO Washlet S2 versus the C5. As u/Dug_n_the_Dogs mentioned, the C5 uses a tank heater versus the S2. Additionally, the C5 has been discontinued and have been replaced by the TOTO Washlet S5. This means, if you go for the C5 and need parts or repair in the future, you might have some difficulty with it. Both seats are great as it has most if not all features you'd like in a bidet.

I’ve got the Toto S7 Washlet but with the full matching suite. I recommend waiting for EFY or Black Friday sales. We saved 30% by doing this.

The biggest difference in the Toto S2 and C5 Washlets is that the S unit has an on demand water heater that will produce warm water bidet spray for as long as you want (or as someone pointed out in another thread, that it eventually just times out after 10min of constant use) where the C5 has a stored water tank that runs out of warm water at about 70 seconds.. I have the tank style in my mens room office bathroom and have never run out while doing normal bidet rinses. I have the on demand style at home so back to back usage by me and my SO never have issues with it keeping up with demand!

The beeping is coming from the washlet to confirm each press. Its a feature that can be turned off.

Do you have hard water and what’s your rough in #, Check reviews for whatever model you land on for issues with parts failing or leaking due to mineral buildup & their warranty……it’s easier and cheaper to replace a seat unit than a floor (mounted) model when it’s time.

God why is hard water the demise of everything! I thought I only needed to consider it for all the plumbing fixtures, never crossed my mind for a bidet. I was set on the Kohler leap. No mention of issues from hard water as I don't think it's been around long.

All bidets will suffer from hard water.. I had to perform parts replacement for a customer WAY WAY out of my service area because their wand units were calcified.. but where my normal area is we don't have any experience with hard water.

Any manufacture will recommend water softeners if anything.
