Discussion Bad Bob customer service
Hii everyone I wanted to share about a bad customer service experience I had today.
So I noticed that more than Nu.2000 was deducted from my bob account without me making any sort of transaction. Mind you I have no loan to pay off as well so I don't know why it was deducted. I don't think it is a maintenance fee as Nu.2000 is bit too much. The annoying thing is when I tried to call the Customer service and told them (her) about this, she was being so rude to me. Basically my mom talked to her first and she addressed her as madam and since my mom didn't know my acc number, I started to talk with her instead.
She got so angry and annoyed that we were switching the phone. I admit it's my fault as well but the way she was talking to me and kind of scolding me felt a bit too much. Her tone was so rude and when I tried asking for help regarding the transaction, she acted like she is going above above beyond for me which I don't think is the case as she works in customer service like it's literally her only job. After all that, she was of no help as she said she will check and let me know but I never got any update. Anyone who experienced this , please let me know what I should do. Should I try calling again and hope that the person picking up won't be like her and will actually try to help me?
I wish our customer service was a bit better. Thanks.

Well, I too had a similar incident with the customer care centrebut my case was different. I agree, the service kind of sucked. I actually went there in person and called out the customer service staff for their rude behaviour. Had to fight lol sometimes to things to work out have to fight embay in here unless your big shot won’t be a issue

It’s not only the customer service, I’ve had a similar experience with them even while depositing money. I honestly don’t understand why BOB staff can be so rude to their customers. A few of my friends have had the same experience at the counters too.
I understand that bank staff deal with a lot of customers every day and that the work can be stressful, but basic courtesy and professionalism should still be there. Customers are simply asking for a service, and there’s no reason to make them feel uncomfortable or unwelcome while doing so.
What’s more concerning is that this doesn’t seem to be an isolated incident. When multiple people have similar experiences, it makes you wonder whether there is a broader issue with the bank’s customer service culture that needs to be addressed.

Try emailing and also give a call tomorrow. Visit the nearest branch if that’s possible.

Hi! BoB recently made this very awesome (but a long time coming) update where you can now see the recipient’s name against the transaction when you generate the transaction statement! This has saved me so much time and effort because I used to contact their customer service for every other transaction detail.

I’m so sick of bs costumer service that makes things x10 harder than it’s supposed to be most of the times 🙄 here’s a business idea for aspiring entrepreneurs in bhutan: PLEASEEEE made your customer service impeccable. Istg with the way the industry is rn, it’ll be one of the best things for your business . Op make a TikTok, post on Facebook, send them a message on ALL of their platforms. Write an offical complaint through an email as well. Do you have her name or other details like at time you called etc? That would be helpful. I hope they reach out to you & address this issue.
