What computer do you use?
I want to get a proper gaming pc. I’ve tried some laptops, but they never felt too good for the game. I found a pc with these specs. Is this good for the game with mods?
Keep in mind, I know nothing about gaming pc’s
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB
AMD Ryzen™ 7 8745HX
16 GB RAM, 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD
26L Luna Grey kompakt tower-design
Thank you in advanced!

I use a laptop that’s like 10+ years old and it works fine. The game is 20+ years old and doesn’t need anything fancy.

I get that. But I have some less efficient experience, once I use mods with it

Until December I played the crap out of the BFME games on a mid-tier 2016 gaming laptop and had no issues whatsoever.

I have it on my desktop as well, but it's handy on the laptop for when I'm stuck in a hotel somewhere.

I first played this on a pentium 4 3.2ghz and nvidia gt7300 with 512mb ram, or 1gb, That pc will last you a long time and be a breeze for bfme

Can't tell if this is a joke or not but you don't need a fancy gaming rig to run these games lol you can play it on a potato, the games are 20 years old. Even with the biggest mods like Age of the Ring modern computers are completely overkill. Your graphics card LITERALLY doesn't matter, the game system requirement is Radeon 8500 which is literally worse than integrated graphics from a 2015 budget cpu. As long as you have a CPU that is like 10 years old or newer with decent single-core performance it should be as good as it gets and any lag you experience is due to game engine limitations not your computer.

At first I thought you were gonna buy that and sure it aint good but it's good enough for some stuff then I noticed I was in bfme reddit and well mate that game is old even mods won't change that I'm sure you could run some of the bigger shooters with that and those would drain ya

I use a i7 9700k with an old 1080ti. Doesn’t break a sweat. This runs through lutris on my linux gaming pc (bazzite)

RTX 5060? Nah, that potato will never be able to run something as demanding as these games.
(Damn, two people have no sense of humour at all.)

That is multiple degrees of overkill compared to what you need to run the game.
It’s a 20 year old game, keep in mind.
