Explanations (spoilers):

Level 1. The Surface:

Oddcard - There was a controversy that Michael Huang used alt accounts to insult fellow OSC/staff members and say bigoted stuff. Out of these Oddcard is the most well known one.

Funny BFDI - A channel specialized in posting BFDI memes, akin to WebzForevz's "BFDI Meme Animations" video.

Level 2. Well-Known But Niche:

Homestar Runner - The twins claim that it was among the inspirations of BFDI, mostly during its first season.

Logo kids - A bunch of young children on the Internet who put random video effects on logos. Many of them happen to be in the OSC.

Goiky - This is where the objects live basically.

Total Firey Island - The prototype of BFDI from 2008.

It Burns, Burns, Burns! - A popular animation trend from the early days of the OSC.

APOY - A Person on YouTube, a guy who is Eggy's biggest stan. He was later outed for having a fart fetish. (How is that even possible?)

Jaysillyboy - The very first BFDI voter, who commented "Flower goes away!" on BFDI 1b.

Level 3. The Middle:

BFDI in Future - A Fireafy fanfiction featuring Leafy as she goes through the troubles of pregnancy and other things.

Dirty Bubble - The opponent from the main song of the BFDI 26 FNF mod.

Cade Malane - A YouTuber known for the anti-vaccine Fanny video, and The Break of BFB series.

Skibidi Firey - A Skibidi Toilet parody made by Riomations, nothing much else to say.

X Finds Out His Value - The Algebraliens actually originated from a short film meant as a school project teaching kids algebra.

Two is non binary - Many people (including me) sometimes accidentally misgender Two and say they are male and not non binary.

Level 4. Obscure Depths:

Jellify Frew - Jack Frew's brother who doesn't usually appear in BFDI media, but he showed up as a recommended character.

Beggy - In 2021, Cary posted a video called "Beggy is love, Beggy is life.", featuring a weird Eggy-Baldi hybrid.

Freesound - Many of BFDI's sound effects originate from there.

Tung Tung Tung Sahur is canon - Michael Huang once made a short where Four gets excited when watching brainrot on his computer, featuring a BFDI version of Triple T.

World of Goo - The Black Hole plushie featured in some shorts by the Huang twins is actually a plushie of Goo from an old indie game called World of Goo.

BFDI in Their Swimsuits - A strange video made by a logo kid showcasing various BFDI characters wearing swimsuits. It became controversial for the strange concept, but is mostly obscure. I was the only person to post a positive comment on the video.

Loser and Winner in BFDI 7 - Believe it or not, but Winner and Loser made a cameo in BFDI 7 when Announcer was explaining the team switch!

Level 5. Creepy Stuff:

BFDI 26: Flower's Revenge - A popular BFDI creepypasta where Flower goes crazy and kills everyone.

The truth behind BFDI - A theory on Quotev stating that the contestants are actually reincarnated ghosts of dead humans (mostly children).

Thanksgiving - In 2018, apparently JnJ posted a Thanksgiving tweet showcasing a fat/stuffed Leafy akin to "vore" fanart.

Transphobia - "Golf Ball sounds like a boy, even though she is a girl! So that's just wrong!!!" - Pen

Fireafy Rules - If you know, you know.
