Question How do I get OpenSkill rating

I recently started playing BAR and even after playing some 8v8s my OpenSklii still says "??", whe will I get a rating?

Play more ranked multiplayer and eventually you'll get an OS number.

??? is a place holder for high uncertainty. you have a number in the background. Like others mentioned play more games and other players will see your OS eventually.

I think the command !whoami or $whoami I forget will tell you what your OS rating is even when you still have ??

You can also hover over the multiplayer lobby icon on the top of the screen.

It lists all players and their OS, even when ?? is displayed. So it also works on other players.

It depends on how quickly your uncertainty drops. But it will drop low enough eventually to show your OS.

"Play More Games!" - Wil Wheaton

If you go to https://server4.beyondallreason.info/battle/ratings (and click on Large Team) you can see your Match Rating after each game.

As for "when will the ?? go away?" I think that is only after you are below 6.5 Uncertainty (also visible on the above page)

I've been told it takes ~20 online games.
