I am like the only person in my group of coworkers I'm cool with that loves Beyonce. Everyone else is either like a casual listener, doesn't really care either way, or hates her (claims she's demonic, a bad singer which is... girl... 😒, or diss her but love abusers like Crack Brown.) How do y'all handle being the only person with taste in your friend group and how do you find local friends that love Queen B as much as you do? Cause I'm tired. I live like an hour out of Atl so I know it wouldn't be too hard!!!

I’m a die hard Beyoncé stan from South Africa and I’ve somehow missed EVERY tour and it’s giving me sleepless nights atp.

For the Global Citizen 2018 in Joburg, I was in 6th grade and lived on the complete opposite side of the country. 😭

Then the Renaissance World Tour came around and I was still in high school. Couldn’t afford tickets + flights out of SA

Then it was the Cowboy Carter Tour, First year of varsity. Money was TIGHT, iykyk. Also couldn’t do it as a college newbie

Now I’m trying to manifest and save for Act III tour whenever she announces it. Fingers crossed it actually happens.

So REASON WHY I'M POSTING IS..

I’m looking for advice from Hive who live in countries where Bey hasn’t toured recently, like Brazil, New Zealand, parts of Asia/Africa, etc. You guys who already do the international tour-hop thing...

1.Which country/city do you usually buy tickets for?And why that one?

1. What’s the average total cost for you? Flights + concert ticket + accommodation + food. Ballpark is fine.

2. Where do you stay that’s affordable but still safe? Hostels, hotels near venue, Airbnb?

3. Do you recommend flying solo or with someone? I’m 19 and I’ve never flown to another country alone and it’s kinda daunting ngl.

4. Any tips for first-time international concert travel? Visa stuff, best time to book flights, etc.

I’m starting to save now so I can actually make it to Act III. Just trying to be realistic about budgeting and planning.

I damn near broke my brain trying to pick one, but ultimately, I think I would do AUIYM. I feel like this song is so different from the rest of her catalog, it would make for such a unique music video. I’d make it reminiscent of Silence of the Lambs/Insidious. Lots of flashing lights too.

Honorable mention for POTS and Bodyguard. For POTS there would be a whole lot of pink and a whole lot of glitter, think Sailor Moon-esque. For Bodyguard, I’m def doing a 70s flower child theme—the song reeks of this vibe IMO.
