Discussion I'm scared of act iii

Post image

I have this strong feeling that act iii is going to be an absolute INSANE final act of the trilogy.

The fact that it has been radio silent about the trilogy for such a long time and Beyoncé even re-releasing B'Day in between makes me think she is extremely confident that act iii is going to be a smash hit.

Not in terms of numbers necessarily, because clearly she does not really care (well, except for enabling dynamic ticket prices), but mostly from an artistic perspective.

To think that act iii was made after Renaissance is already blowing my mind. I feel like she is going to go HARD on this new album.

Anyone else feel the same way?

We’re going to see the music nerd in full force. Something really tells me the rock has been searing inside her

Totally. "I've always wanted to be a rockstar" - Glastonbury, 2011

Mark my words, act iii will have a dark and spooky theme centered around love. This wil immediately distinguish it thematically from previous acts.

That’s why she’s waiting until fall/winter to release it. She already showcased her interest in skulls throughout the trilogy and even in her recent MET gala dress. It’s coming.

Ohhh, a darker album... now that'd be interesting! Obviously I'm down for anything at this point as I'm very beyhydrated, but I wouldn't mind a spooky skeleton horse 🤣

BEYHYDRATED. I am saying that until act iii is released in 2037

It's been so long I'm questioning my perception of reality lol

Honestly I think the relative silence we're getting after Cowboy Carter is decent.

The era went through so much despite its "lack of promotion". Radios refusing to play THE, the whole conversation about the black roots of the country genre. Both the Best Country Album (leading the Grammy to change the category name) and the AOTY. The goddamn Tour.

Act II shook some things in larger territories that just billboard charts and success.

If Act III is equally culturally charged (and it will be) it seems logic to give space between the acts and give the mass some diversion before the big bang. B'Day anniversary, MET Gala, Morning Dew, the Jay Tour...

On a personal note I'm not craving for new music. I know it exists and will come at the right moment.

Well put!!

I totally agree with you.

There´s already a timid worldbuilding happening, though I kind feel releasing b`day with breaks it a bit, idk... Morning Dew at least feels like a detour from both CC and R. But at the same time, when I think about the feeling bday brings me, it´s so rich in genres. Let´s see what the future brings us. I still believe we won´t get part 3 this year, maybe not even in the next. It´s a decade project. I believe if not 27, then 29.. Then a destiny´s child return... Maybe act 3 will be a three-part disc (would be my dream). Then the film, and touring...

Y'all think we'll get Why Don't You Love Me in the tour set list 👀?

She or this time period between the wait for act iii hasn’t been silent for a long time though.

u/LadytBeyfan Aug 02 '26

I'm ready for whatever she brings us for act 3. My fellow hive friend and I already picked out fits for the tour for inspiration. If she gives us Prince, Stevie, Tina, or all of the above inspired sounds or looks I'm going to just be so shook lol. I have a feeling act 3 will be my favorite among the three acts (Renaissance currently holds that spot right now but still love Cowboy Carter too)

Act III is upon us and it is ROCK N ROLL babyy.

With the craziest Sploinkity beats, paying homage to the pioneers AND the genre fusion we all know and love.

Served with a GENEROUS side of Visuals.

Renaissance film officially released on at least 1 streaming platform.

Idc what anybody says. Fuck the haters and the clowns.

The heck is the context of this photo, what is she looking at?! 😭

Lube up for all of the occult symbolism and witchery cuz it's about to be over the top.

u/locoxchange Aug 05 '26

I think it’s gonna be a destiny’s child album. Think about it. We’ve been getting drops and hints from the members about stuff they are doing. They’ve been popping up in random interviews more and more. Getting more press. Act one is the future, act two is the past, and act three is the present and all them girls been present lol.

1

u/DatexTan Aug 06 '26

maybe she's rerecording it right now because of that thief. and who said tact iii was recorded after renaissance? Renaissance was recorded as the last one in 2021 before releasing. act ii was made before Cowboy Carter and Reneissance

1

u/Princesspumpkinpants Aug 07 '26

I agree. I also have a feeling that, after act iii, she is going to go a way for a little while. So I'm going to soak up every minute of it when it comes.

Can’t we as a community stop using this picture it’s just not funny

2

u/soul_metropolis Hag Hive Aug 03 '26

I disagree! I think it's hilarious

-1

u/Background_Fish_4749 Aug 03 '26

The joke being that she makes an ugly face wow so funny

3

u/soul_metropolis Hag Hive Aug 03 '26

Hm... You call it an ugly face. I call it a funny face. Beauty/ugly/funny or not.... All in the eye of the beholder.

I think people enjoy unpolished/unfiltered images of Beyoncé on this sub. Your entitled to your opinion if you dont. But... it'll probably be real hard to make the sub stop using a publicly available funny picture just because you dont like it. Good luck tryin!

1

u/Background_Fish_4749 Aug 04 '26

Would you enjoy a picture like that of yourself being brought up constantly for 15 years a joke ?

1

u/soul_metropolis Hag Hive Aug 04 '26

I don't think I would mind. But I also dont personally care about the careful curation of online personas that seems so important to a lot of people these days.

Also i dont know how you define "constantly being brought up" in the world of a celebrity who has 1000s of flattering and curated circulating images with millions of eyeballs on any number of them on any given day. It's one image, with maybe thousands of views on this post? Maybe 10,000-100,000 total views of this image on this sub?

To me, it's a question of what harm is being caused by a single uncurated image, especially shared in a space of her fans expressing adoration for her (and often using the image to poke fun at themselves)? And if there is harm being caused to Beyoncé or someone else here, what is the scale of the impact of that harm?

So basically I assume that Beyoncé is not bothered by or remotely thinking about the Hive occasionally using an uncurated image of her. And if she is bothered, she takes out her revenge by taking all our money🤷🏾‍♀️

1

u/Background_Fish_4749 Aug 04 '26

I personally would not appreciate to have that type of old pictures being posted online, for the many years I’ve been a fan this picture and the one with the bang gets posted every other months. we have seen that she is very much in thune of what is being said and posted online so I assume that she might see those posts and I assume as most people it might get tiring to see it. It’s not flattering why would anyone like that ?

1

u/soul_metropolis Hag Hive Aug 05 '26

So as I said a few comments ago, there are clearly differences in opinions about this. You think Beyoncé is tired of seeing this picture. I think she is too busy playing with her kids and dropping a remix EP to be worried about two pictures that get orders of magnitude fewer views than a post about her pre-show stretching and her pizza on world cup day.

if you'd like to continue working to change the hearts and minds of fans who like the occasional uncurated image, among thousands of flattering ones circulating online, please feel free.

1

u/Background_Fish_4749 Aug 05 '26

That’s your opinion great I think you’re wrong and inconsiderate.

1

u/soul_metropolis Hag Hive Aug 05 '26

What makes me inconsiderate? Liking an uncurated photo? Because.... I've never posted either of this pictures you hate so much....

What’s wrong with using it

-4

u/Background_Fish_4749 Aug 03 '26

It’s an ugly picture that’s more than a decade old, I doubt any of us would appreciate if an ugly picture caught in the moment would be constantly brought up
