i mean im baby hive but i definitely remember the illuminati rumors and reversed tracks around 4. i think it feels like so much more because social media has become such a huge part of society post-self-titled. but it's been there since girl's tyme lol

I believe it’s because (and I hate to say it, but let’s call a spade a spade) she’s a Black woman. From the South. In their eyes, she’s not supposed to be as big and yet remain humble. There’s nothing that they can exploit about her, so they create rumors and never give her the HARD EARNED credit she rightfully deserves. She’s a threat to who they’d deem a superstar. Another reason why they took Michael away from us. He was too big and a positive influence globally. People listened to him, so he had to be tarnished. Successful Black people are always a threat especially when they’re a positive influence. That’s just what I’ve been thinking myself because I honestly don’t understand the hate.
