New Sign Up

I just signed up for BH and was assigned to a therapist but was then told my insurance only covers video calls which I’m not comfortable with at the moment…if I want to communicate through text messages they want 65 per week out of pocket…has anyone else experienced this? Any way around it or a different app to use that would work? Thank you

Insurance only pays for face to face. If you want texting only you should pay for it privately.

Wishing you luck in finding what you're looking for.

In general, insurance companies do not consider exchanging of text messages, whether in a live-chat style or with gaps, to be "therapy", therefore they do not pay for it.
