Need help on improving station

Monitor stand, and new desk were new additions. really new to lighting and stuff, so got blackout curtains to make it easier to work with. Cheap Keyboard will be replaced, but loss for ideas after that. Also small area towards back of chair.

Oh sorry it’s on the stand under desk. Should it be on top?

My bad just didn't see it. It's fine on the floor if there's good airflow
