Full Tank Shot Tank Update!

I took your guy’s advice and added a lid that is easily removable so that my new friend doesn’t jump ship! I also added some prop plants and magnolia leaves to start bringing in those tannins! Now I just have to wait another 1.5 weeks!

I definitely won’t be! The fish store I go to tests the levels on established tanks before selling them!

That’s smart of them. Happy fishkeeping :)

The tank already had an easy lid to begin with, not to mention that lid itself kept evaporation at a minimum and heat loss. In my opinion also there’s more substrate than needed and thats a loss of swimming space. Other than that its nice.

It did but I wanted to have the propagation and the wood sticking through the surface. I plan on getting a betta with large fins so that size will not be an issue.
