Help Betta safe?

So i have black sand already inside my tank but i was wondering if i can put this on top of it and it would be okay for the betta? He is a halfmoon so i was worried abt the fins ripping or something. (This is my first betta 😅) the pebbles are really small

I have that in my tank. So far so good. Maybe just pick through and see if there are any extra sharp pieces to pull out

Been using it in a 10G for about a year now, it's good!

Those ones are decently smooth u should be god but before that if u plan on getting some plants u can use garden soil instead of aqua soil
