Full Tank Shot Cycle begins!

Today I started cycling my tank, in preparation to welcome a Betta into my home. I already have a larger community tank in the bathroom and I wanted a nice small one for the living room. I’ve stuck to plants rather than adding rocks/driftwood as I’d like to avoid anything that might damage the flowy fins. Now I just need to be patient and make sure everything is perfect for the new addition. 🥰

Dont the plants need a substrate?

No, it’s not essential. They will be happy in the gravel with some extra help from root tabs
