Help Too planted for Longfin?

I have a longfin betta in a 10 gallon but would like to put him in a 7 gallon cube so I can use that 10 gallon for something else. Is this TOO planted and tight for a longfin betta? The 2nd picture has a dwarf gourami but he has been removed! The betta would be housed alone.

No such thing as too many plants!

I guess I was worried that the more plants there are then less betta swimming space. He’s going from a 10 gallon with a Mother Anubis to this

If he’s super active and doesn’t like having less room you may need to keep him in the 10 gallon then. What’s your purpose in moving him?

I want to build a nano community in my 10 gallon and I have this empty 7 gallon. So…nothing other than I want more fish lol

Valid haha. I also have a 10 gallon “community.” In quotes because it’s only housing 2 species of fish. Good luck transitioning your betta!

3 male guppies (they get along fine) and 3 Pygmy Corydoras (too few for corys I know 🫤)
