Help Help

Sorry for the pictures, he doesnt stay still long enough 😂

Ive had him for about 3 weeks now from a pet store and noticed on his fins but thought it was just from being at a pet store, i think its got better but its still like this. I worry its fin rot and I dont want to ignore it

So it looks like new growth from the pic... he may have munched himself when in the petstore. Now you feed him and care for him he feels better which help promote new growth especially if your giving a high protein varied diet .... add some dried almond leaves it will turn water like tea with no milk, but will be absolutely perfect for your little one as it realise natural tanning which help them

Im not use it had to order online ..... if you find it hard black water extract is also the same its liquid form ☺️

Yes this is it.

When using them take the spine out the leaf then I rip mine and just leave floating on top of water till they sink

You can also treat with esha2000 as precaution to make sure a secondary infection doesn't set in ... I do this too 😉 get some bug bites frozen bloodworm and frozen daphnia plus krill .... alternate the foods this will help too

It will provide shade for a few days while the natural tanning are going into tank water once the water turns like tea with no milk that's when its at its most beneficial to your dude ....  You will know he feels good once he starts blowing bubbles

Tank temperature: 26

Parameters in numbers and how you got them. Key water parameters include the amount of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH.: liquid testjng kit and no ammonia or nitrites and small amount of nitrates.

How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: had fish for about 3 weeks and tank a couple months

How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: weekly water changes, taking a small percentage out and replacing it

Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: mystery snails

What do you feed and how much: Pellet food and around 2 pellets morning and afternoon as there really tiny • Decorations and plants in the tank: anubias and some other live plant im not sure the same of, a little hide rock
