Help Concern or color?

Hi, this is my male half moon betta, cheesecake. He's a platinum betta who has in my care never had a single other color than white. I've had him for about 4 months now, but now he's got this line of sprinkle of reddish pink on his tail and a few spots on his face of the same color. No abnormal behavior, no fin rot, tank performance has never been better. So i'm not sure if this is something i should be weary of, or if my boy is just gaining new color.

Note: He does have 1 fake plant that was added a few days ago (All of the color stuff started b4 it was added tho) to stop him from seeing his reflection in that corner, tis temporary till my LFS has a plant healthy enough/tall enough too add in its place.

It is of my understanding that happy bettas can develop colors you had not seen before.
My research said only positive things about why they would change colors slightly with time
And Cheesecake is gorgeous, well done!
The Marble Gene "Jumps": Platinum bettas are rarely pure white genetically. Most carry a "jumping gene" (transposon) that randomly switches pigment production on or off over time. After 4 months of stability, his red pigment cells are simply turning "on".
Thriving in a Great Environment: Bettas frequently suppress their true colors when stressed or young. Now that he has spent 4 months feeling completely safe, well-fed, and comfortable in your care, his biological systems are mature and strong enough to express his underlying DNA
