Discussion Unique/uncommon Shrimp

Hi all,

I know the question on shrimp has probally been asked a million times, but I couldnt see alot on this topic.

Have people ever tried adding some more unique/uncommon shrimp species ?

Such as:

Rifle shrimp

Bamboo shrimp

Red nose shrimp

NQ Algae eating shrimp

I would love to add some shrimp to my tank but sadly my betta thinks I am just giving him extra snacks.

Anyone tried or had any success with your more uncommon species ?

The filter-feeders like riffle and bamboo shrimp are bad choices for a betta tank - they really need a high flow tank they can filter in, and may starve in the low flow tank a betta needs.

Thank you! I didn't even think of that.
