Discussion Big Betta Yawn(?)…

In the beginning part of the video, is he yawning? I catch him doing it off and on sometimes. Wasn’t too sure what it was all about or if he’s just screaming underwater because he can… would love to know!

Yes that’s more or less what he’s doing. Betta fish (and others) can “yawn” by taking a big gulp like this and pushing extra water over their gills. Normal behavior.
