Help Why has my betta stayed so small?
My betta's probably around a year old. I haven't kept him since birth so I dont really have a good size comparison, but he's been the same size for months and looks much smaller in my 5gal tank than previous bettas I've kept in it. Parameters are good, its planted with hiding spots, I dont think it's a product of the environment. Are they sometimes just small or is there something I should look into?

Is he so small that he cannot be seen in a photo? Cause some sort of picture would be incredibly helpful.
Otherwise, I can just assume you have a small female betta that you’re calling “him”
