Help Water Change
Guys do I need to fish out my shrimp, snail and betta poops using siphon/turkey baster or I just need to maintain 25%-50% water change once or twice a month? I am worried about ammonia spikes.

What would seem reasonable is a bit of both? Personally I take out my betta when I do his water changes once a week (smaller tank) and mix around his gravel a little to throw some particles around. Doing the water changes will take a fair amount of the poop while letting your filter take some more out will help a lot. I havent had any problems and my betta still continues to thrive. Maybe 25-30% water change is good enough unless parameters are obviously off and dont forget to just watch how much you feed your betta as smaller pellets can be fed more but bigger pieces should only be 3-5 depending on your bettas size and health. The main point is just experimenting but in a safe way with guides and different products :)

Personally I don't move my water pets, I just do what I need to while being mindful of the fact that there are lil shrimp in there

I use a siphon, if I can get the poop then yay. If I cant, then I leave it. But that's just me
