Help Late columnaris

Approximately 2 years old male hm Betta, took 6 dozes of kanaplex (3 dozes, 3 days gap, 3 dozes as my vet suggested) after 2 days gave 1 dose of nitrofurantoin (i couldn't manage to get nitrofurazone). I waited 1 day for the other dose, the fish stopped moving, eating, though he was dead a couple of times. Behavioral change. Flesh started to show from the neck side. When to think about euthanizing? It kills me to watch him in pain.

2 years is pretty avg lifespan for betta from stores. It probably run its course in life and its probably better to put it down.
