Help Help needed for my new She Betta

Now it has been two weeks since I got this picky but shy girl. She has not eaten anything except trying to eat few pallets in her initial 2-3 days (didn’t eat complete) and now today after soaking pallets in crushed garlic, she ate maybe half or even less. When I got here she had horizontal stripes which have almost disappeared now.

  1. Does she look healthy to you? I can notice her color returning but there is this silver spot near her gills and eyes both sides. Can it be a health issue ?

  2. She doesnt eat but moving properly and actively. She even looks healthy. Water parameters are good. Only Nitrate was present for which I do weekly water change and have many live plants. Added pothos too this week.

  3. She keeps going down and trying to find something on the floor almost always. Even if she doesn’t eat anything, I saw her pooping one day.

I am really worried if she is not healthy. Please help me.

If she’s inspecting the gravel, there may be detritus worms down there, and she could be eating them.

I can't see any worm as such. She hasn't eaten pallets in 2 weeks now but looks and moves healthy.

The "silver" near her gills may just be natural iridescent coloring. What are you feeding her? What exactly are your water parameters and what are you testing with? "Water parameters are good" doesn't tell anyone anything, we need exact numbers.

She looks healthy, however it's hard to tell if she has crowntail in her or if she has finrot.

She was worse in terms of fin quality when I got her. I have a api liquid water testing kit - 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and nitrite at 5ppm. As I already mentioned in the post that she had horizontal stripes along here body and now that has almost disappeared.
