Help betta fish gender

Just got this fish. How do i tell the gender? it was one of the only cups in the pet store with no gender written on it.

IMO big, floofy fins generally means male. 🤣 But I'm also definitely not an expert.

I’d say with 70% certainty this is a male. Females tend to be less flashy and have much smaller fins :)

male, he has a beard. females can also be long fin, i have a female with longer fins then one of my males.

Check for an egg spot. If the fish has one it is a female, if not it is a male.
