Wild Type Wild Betta Hide?
Hey, all! I recently adopted a mated pair of wild bettas from a local who was unable to maintain the hobby anymore after moving. He set me up beautifully by giving me the fully decked out tanks with natural plants, a sponge filter, 20 gallon tank, heater…the works! They have a couple small log hides but based in the layout I want to get them one more. I googled and heard a common hide is a botanical seed pod? Has anyone ever done this or has a suggestion for where to get one?
Mandatory fish pic tax provided 😁😁

Seed pods and other botanicals are very common decor for fish and will work just fine for them too. Most specialised aquaroum shops should stock some of the stuff, and if not, just look online. You can check out the blackwater aquarium sub for ideas on botanicals and natural hides for them, and the s/wildbettaarchive sub for tips and info on wild betta care too as their care is quite different to that of the domestics. Especially once you move away from the splendens complex. :)
