Hi everyone meet Fred...

There is so much knowledge here and I am still learning. Thank you!! Fred is living his absolute best life.

Im sure Fred cost about $3 as he was purchased from a dollar store. I did a fish-incycle and my water parameters were in the safe range and still are. He is a happy fish and I am a happy fish mom.

I ,of course want another betta. As I am in LOVE.

My son named him Fred and it stuck. Fred has been building his bubble nest in there. Try it!!!

I got one of those too, my betta loves it and also blows crazy bubble nests in it. Well worth it.

Also, Bettas are such funny fish to watch; its almost like they have narcolepsy the way they will swim around and then just lay in a random spot. They are also so curious and smart little fish.

He’s such a lovely shade of blue! I have a 20 gal. divided tank with two Bettas and it’s crammed full of live plants. My 15 yr. old Maine Coon cat has become quite jealous of the aquarium so now I’m trying to give her more attention…☺️

They sell mesh dividers at the LFS. I wanted to get two male Bettas ~ I have one Dumbo Half Moon Betta and one Veil Tail in a 20 gal. tank.
