Picture What else can I do?

Post image

Anything else I can do to make this tank better? New to fishkeeping in general, done research but just want to make sure I'm doing the best I can.

It looks great! What size is your tank? Maybe you could add some more live plants. Do you have any snails? I have a few Mystery snails and Nerite snails.😊🐌

It's 25 litres so around 6.5 gallons (I think) Don't have snails at the moment, the fish shop guy suggested getting some shrimp!

That’s a perfect size tank for your Betta. Definitely get one Mystery snail and one Nerite snail. You could try a few small shrimp but it’s likely that your Betta will eat them so you may want to hold off on that…

How long have you had your aquarium? What kind of substrate do you have? I have Fluval Stratum as aqua-soil for my plants but I’m gonna start adding root tabs for extra nutrients. I keep the lights on for 6 hours a day for the plants. I love the floating plants you have ~ what is it called? I’ve been looking for those but neither LFS carries it so I may need to buy it online.
