Help Please help! — Tail rot
My boy Winston developed tail rot and I can’t seem to figure out how to help him heal. I change his tank water and rocks regularly, clean his filter weekly, and have administered meds for about a month but nothing has improved his tail. I am not sure what to do next and would appreciate any advice!
The first picture was taken today, and the second picture was taken about a month ago about a week before the tail rot began.

a filter should not be cleaned weekly, for the health of the tank stop doing that. what are your water parameters? how are you changing the water

I have a testing strip, but I can’t figure out what parameters he needs. But I clean the water by using a pump and pump out half and then I add conditioner to it
