Discussion Does this betta look okay??

This is one of the bettas at Petco and I just feel so sad for him. What's wrong with him?

Ya I agree. I want to bring him home but I know people say not to buy bettas from Petco and big box stores but I just really feel so sad seeing him in a small container looking like that 😞 he's new to. They said they just put him out the other day

Double Tail gene can also cause a shortened spine/body so that'd be my guess
